“The” Mark Ballard

July 31st, 2007 · 5 Comments

mark-ballard-video.jpgMark Ballard, also known as The Artist, is now featured at macon.com, The Telegraph’s online version. Click here to go to The’s page, which currently features a video on how to make paper camellias.

The’s future online projects will include making clothes from Ziploc bags, the proper jewelry to use for tongue piercings, and how to completely cover your house in nasturtiums.

The Telegraph liked the idea of hooking up with The Artist so much that it is looking for some other symbiotic “The” relationships. Possibilities might include The Gossip, The Stripper, or The Gang Member.

The Telegraph’s reporter during Macon’s ten day parade of pink is already known as The Blossom.

Do you remember when “The Artist” changed his name to “The”?

I especially appreciated the caution “The” gave us about the drop of glue from the hot gun. What a guy…?

I have never understood what the “whoop” is.

It might have been an on-air personality from Channel 13 that first called him “The”.

How about “The Shyster” for a symbiotic relationship? Of course, the shyster I have in mind is none other than Clarence Jack “Hakim” Ellis.
