Treat yourself to some live entertainment

January 21st, 2008 · 1 Comment

Why watch actors and actresses on film when you can watch them in person? Treat yourself to one of the excellent local theatre productions being offered in the Macon community.

star-spangled-girl.jpg“Star Spangled Girl” a Neil Simon play, opens at Macon Little Theatre on February 1. It’s the story of a love triangle mixed with politics set in San Francisco in the 1960’s. Love and politics. Just like Billary and Hillary. The box office opens to the general public on January 28. Call 471-PLAY.bye-bye-birdie.jpg

Over at Theatre Macon, “Bye Bye Birdie” is currently in production. It’s the story of Conrad Birdie’s last musical fling before the has to report for basic training in the Army. (Hm-m-m. Didn’t that happen to Elvis?) Call 746-9485 for tickets.
