Who ever’s got the Elaine VOODOO Doll kindly remove the needle from her Butt and place it between the Lips. Perhaps that will shut her up.

Did you hear the fill in dude on AM940 rail against Elaine? He is obviously not from around here. He said “doesn’t know her butt from a hole in the ground about law enforcement.” As we all know it matters not what a politician knows or does not know in Macon. The fill in dude will meet her some time today I am sure.

    Honorable Haiku

    I am older now;
My once strong voice is weaker.
    Sensing rout, — I scream!

Oh, she knows a thing or two about law enforcement. Remember when she raised a stink cause the police ticketed her son for loud music and she raised so much hell, the guy resigned.

Does this “radio dude” understand who he’s messin’ with?

The Lucas political machine has been and still is one helluva steamroller.

Another local politician who presumes her words carry as much weight as her shoes.

I may be dumb, but I am smart enough to stay away from this one. Someone just handed me a ten foot pole. I would not touch this with that or even a 20 footer.

Now, would you just look at the shape of that face in Anchor’s exaggeration? Do you see why I was reminded of smoked ham the other day…

…or today? Hmm, it’s supper time, isn’t it?

Glad, I have a 30 foot ladder you could borrow. Of course I will have to get it back from King Cotton, who borrowed it a few weeks ago. He said something about “rescuing Meko” as he loaded the ladder in the back of his Jed Clampett style truck. He left a watch as security but my wrist turned green.

Cotton keeps shopping from the backs of those cars that keep circling the Old New Macon Mall. I have been warned that the Food Court Fighters have some of the cutest watches, but the warranties ain’t much.

    Ima…………….how can you be hungry?

Augustus……….remember me at Christmas time; I like the Dickey overalls, OK?

I knew Gladiolus could not keep away. The subject could be How Parents Can Save Money On College Education Costs By Eating Their Children and the Gladhander would find a different slant on the subject. And thankfully so.

Gladiolus………..I like that Anchor!!! Has a certain Romanesque zest, but yet retains its intrinsic and wholesome Americana flavor.

Please forgive me for having to correct you Gladiator, but there’s not much that interests me at any of our local malls. Macon’s beautiful & historic downtown is more than adequate for most of my shopping needs.

There are though a couple of stops I make way out in the “sticks” of Monroe County when we go fishing, and that is “Ole Gus’s Bait & Tackle and Augustine’s Snack Shack.

I think my mommy named me “Different” for a reason. In high school I was voted most likely to dress my children strangely. I think this topic now needs to revert on over to “School Uniforms: Epaulets or Trapunto Details?” Now this is a topic for the fabric-ally obsessed!

    Cotton:
Where do you buy your Prada heels downtown? Wait, I think Miuccia Prada might only sellum in the ATL. If we want to be purists, the best way to buy them is to get on a plane to Milano. The onlyway to buy original, one-off art is at the Arts Alliance gallery. The only way to get the best hot dog is to go down the hill from the gallery to the best NuWay. The only way to get a flavor of a trattoria is to go to the former Cherry Corner (remember how authentic that was???) to the now Market City Cafe. There are too many things to list that must be got downtown. They need to put a Chichester’s downtown.

Prada, Gucci, Dior, etc. are all anathemas to me, my dear Gladiolus. These brands are for the jet-set crowd.

I prefer to stick with the most conservative of American basics, with an occasional European flair such as shirts from the venerable Spanish haberdashery, Antonio Vergas.

Myself, I have stayed with Mutton Chop Dress Hut of Goshen, Indiana. I need to send a picture, but lately I have been looking almost as good as Carrot Top.
