We’ve read that the Macon Mall is facing foreclosure. Well, there’s good news for the mall at last.
The Onion is reporting that a new retailer, Linens’ N Shit, will open a new location today at the Macon Mall.

This new establishment would fit right in with all the dollar stores, nail salons and beauty shops we have in this town.
Aren’t we up to about 79 dollar stores now open in Maconga? We could easily have 12 Linens’ N Shits open within a couple of years.

The white middle class does not want to go to an area that they consider a high crime neighborhood. The Mall must take affirmative steps now to increase security or the Mall will go the way of Westgate.

Sorry, Cotton. My other persona, christened by many as ImaNotThinkin, literally knocked me off my chair and took over the keyboard when she saw today’s topic. Unfortunately, she hit “submit” before I had a chance to filter her remarks. I hope you don’t think that she is wayward or unkempt. (In fact, “unfinished” would probably more accurately serve to define.) It’s just that she has been assigned to accomplish the more difficult jobs in my life, and she knew that I wouldn’t be able to contribute to this conversation without her help. As time passes, you will probably see her again, so your indulgence will be appreciated. It might even be helpful to you if I explain that, with the help of our psychiatrist, we have truly come a long, long way in the past few years, and medication does ease the gnawing symptoms. Regrettably, though, there are times when ImaThinkin loses control over ImaNotThinkin and s**t does happens. Please, everyone, accept my humble apologies in advance.

Don’t forget: ‘Twas not Ima that started the thread. It was those insane people, sitting up in Madison, Wisconsin, writin’ the Onion. Be careful when you log into the Onion as it has essentially no filters, coming from the communist tendencies of the University of Wisconsin refugees. In Georgia, we have never seen the likes of these maniacs. Considering that I was raised a stone’s throw from this anarchy, I am pretty used to it, and the Onion.
