Here come the Obamamaniacs

November 11th, 2008 · 20 Comments

Here they come.  They thought their quest was over, their race had been run.  They had won battle after battle and had finally won the great victory.  But some had become despondent because they had come to the end of the trail. Take a look at this video of the situation.

These were “comnunity organizers” already looking for the next war.  Now they’ve found it.  They’re going after Saxby.

The Associated Press reports that aides who worked in the Obama campaign are headed to Georgia to work on the Jim Martin campaign in the three weeks remaining  before his runoff with Senator Saxby Chambliss.

What does “carpetbagger” mean?

You forgot to mention they were daydreaming of how to spend all their money from the Obama tax relief program vs the McCain-Saxby tax plan.

See how much Obama will save you:

Hmmm. My calculations show a tax increase of at least 30% for all brackets. This calculator is obviously fueled by Kool-Aid.

We will bail out everything. Dairy Queen: 10 billion. Waffle House: 4 billion. PetSmart: 100 billion. We will just take our paychecks and all other loose change to the local business/Fannie Mae/Freddie Mac/GM-Chrysler and give them our money. Why do we need a middle man?

    Get Over It!

  • 5 gladiolus the obvious // Nov 12, 2008 at 1:28 pm

get over what? what on Earth! Get over not having any paycheck left? A pretty doggone tall order. If you write me a check for the difference, I am happy to over-get til da cowz come home. But they cannot. They are out getting second jobs!!! I am following them too. I would like to brush my teeth with toothpaste this week rather than sand. Just sayin.

as well, a snide “get over it” phrase connotes one wants everybody bailed out. I agree.
Bail my ass out too whilst we are at it. Though at this moment, the only bailing I want is my various stock portfolios. Put them back to the multiple zeros—–please!!!!

vivcivic, that calculator thing is an internet direct marketing tool for somebody. It may be a valid and accurate service, but I don’t want to submit my email address.

Glad, what does Obama winning the election have to do with the amount of your paycheck?

  • 9 Cotton Avenue Solon // Nov 12, 2008 at 5:59 pm

If and when Obamamaniacs Trickle Thru-Up-Down-Sideways-Any Which Way economics takes hold…………then we will all be paying more in not only federal income taxes, but also in federal Social Security & Medicare payroll taxes.

With the Dems in power, the dirty little secret in Washington is that the S.S./Medicare tax rate of 15.30% will be going to over 16.00%.

That’s the relevance to your paycheck next year my dear Citronella.

I almost forgot……..this extended period of hibernation really hasn’t been a long bad dream, has it Anchor?

I’d had this recurring nightmare that this little known plain-Jane politico from Alaska was wearing St. Johns, Prada and Gucci, and my wife and I only had Goodwill rags in our closets.

    Cotton,
Welcome back. Feel like eating your words? Might want to start with these:
Cotton Avenue Solon // Oct 3, 2008 at 6:29 pm

When McCain wins this election next month, most of the broadcast and cable network media personalities are going to be on suicide watch.

They will be moaning and crying: “How could this happen? What does this mean for America?”

Cotton Avenue Solon // Oct 3, 2008 at 6:37 pm

Citronella………..hope you’re feeling good the morning after the election. It will be a glorious day in the USA!!!

    yikes…I’m being moderated!

  • 16 gladiolus the obvious // Nov 12, 2008 at 10:53 pm

Citro, you are not, you must be being paranoid. SWAnchor has too many others to mod than you. Your computer must have a funky firewall. Anchor already knows what you will say for most any purpose. Of course he has to let it go.

I just cannot work a stupid blackberry thing and cannot tell what goes or just sits there…

  • 17 gladiolus the obvious // Nov 12, 2008 at 10:55 pm

Seriously, Citronella, I think you may not actually be moderated. I am pretty sure it is something in the program. It happened on mine once too, but I think I had just said the s-h word…

  • 18 Citro // Nov 13, 2008 at 12:06 am

    the s-h word??? Sarah?

  • 19 gladiolus the obvious // Nov 13, 2008 at 10:34 am

I never take Palin’s name in vain, regardless of how many crazy gaffes she makes. She is bigger than life, even though she needs a tutor on the Constitution, (who doesn’t nowadays!)

  • 20 gladiolus the obvious // Nov 13, 2008 at 2:22 pm

    Citro:

Cotton was talking about the election of 2012!!!teehee

I don’t think Barack Obama, Mr. President, President Obama or President Barack H. Obama has much to do with what will happen with my payck. Hank Paulson just called to say he had everybody’s appropriated now thru Jan 09…Then I predict a changing of the guard involving Mr. Buffett.
